Protecting your farm’s future

Many farmers wrestle with the challenge of farm succession. Their children may not want to farm, there may be potential family conflicts, and continuing farm viability can be a problem, and what about retirement planning? Farmers are keen to see their organic or biodynamic farm, their life’s work, continue, but how? What are the options?

Oxford Real Farming Conference 2024 – Finding the right Successor for your Land & Opportunities for New Entrants

Our session ‘Finding the Right Successor for your Land’ took place this year at the ORFC – Oxford Real Farming Conference 2024 where we tackled the BIG questions for both new entrants and farmers looking for next steps to do with their land. We addressed questions such as – how do you go about finding the next stage for your farm if you have no family to take it on? What are useful paths and choices? Where do you start? When is the best time to look at succession? Check out our recent blog for the highlights from the session.
