This year’s Annual General Meeting of the Biodynamic Land Trust will be held on
Saturday 12th October at Hawkwood College, Stroud from 11.30 am to 1pm. All are welcome to attend, not just members.
The event will include a discussion time, after the official matters of the AGM, to share reflections and updates on how our ‘sustainable income’ project is progressing and how to have the funds to develop the work and mission. We look forward to your thoughts and ideas. Please contact us to let us know that you will be attending.
Lunch will be available from Hawkwood College’s dining room at 1pm but this must be booked in advance. Hawkwood offer a two-course meal for £19. If you wish to book lunch, please call Hawkwood directly on 01453 759034 by 7th October. (You can also bring your own and use the AGM room.)
As this year’s event is being held close to one of our projects, Oakbrook Farm, we will also have a presentation by the Oakbrook Farm team after lunch (at 2.15pm) about the farm development and the work on the land. This will be followed by a farm walk to experience how the holding is developing into a community-connected biodynamic farm, home to a collection of farm enterprises providing food, opportunities, training and increasing wellbeing for a growing number of people. This is not part of the official AGM but it would be helpful to know numbers so please also contact us if you intend to join us for the afternoon.
We look forward to seeing you on the 12th October!
