As so many people want to donate or invest in shares, despite the 24th July deadline passing, we have decided to extend the deadline until the end of July! Many people have been coming personally to the BDLT office at the Painswick Inn, Slad Road, Stroud, to see Gabriel with their shares and forms. It has been really heart warming to experience the support-both locally and nationally. Sarah has been administering the incoming shares and gifts, and has been juggling with the figures for pledges, then those for actual gifts and shares. There is still a shortfall of around £45,000….
The picture of the total shares and gifts that have come in will be much clearer on Monday 3rd August , when we will post more information on this Blog and on Facebook. We will be sending out receipts to people and eventually Share Certificates….and planning a celebration….
